An incredible curated itinerary, including guided tours of Zagreb, Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, Roman historical sites in Rovinj and Istria, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Split and Dubrovnik. Indulge in truffle and olive oil tasting experiences, seven days in 4-star accommodation, seven nights aboard the Deluxe small ship MV Adriatic Pearl cruising along Croatia’s stunning Dalmatian Coast. Exclusive transportation provided throughout, and a dedicated tour leader, sightseeing and entrance fees as per itinerary.
Small group learning academic sessions as per RACGP guidelines, with activities recorded for Delegates. Non-GP Specialists are invited to present from their own field of interest, according to their college guidelines.
We were fortunate to secure the Deluxe small cruise ship exclusively for the use of our group. The MV Adriatic Pearl offers a refined and comfortable cruise experience with a total of 18 air conditioned and ensuite cabins, that are well-equipped (flat screen TV, safe deposit boxes, and ample storage). The ship is designed with a focus of spaciousness featuring a 230 square metre sundeck with a jacuzzi and comfortable sun lounges. The air conditioned main saloon includes a dining area, bar and lounge, providing a great space for our CME meetings. The extensive sundeck will transform into a Pilates studio for the more active members of our group. The MV Adriatic Pearl also provides a swimming platform for easy water access and various recreational equipment. The dedicated crew is on hand to ensure an intimate and personalised cruise experience for our group.

Day One

Welcome to Croatia!
Our tour starts on 14th June 2026 with a welcome dinner at our hotel, to give you an opportunity to meet your fellow travellers.
This is a perfect introduction to Croatian hospitality and cuisine.
Day Two
Location: Zagreb
Hotel: Hotel Dubrovnik or Similar
Meals: Breakfast
Embark on a captivating morning walking tour of Zagreb, Croatia’s capital, as you explore both the historic Lower and Upper towns. Discover the city’s main attractions, including the iconic St. Mark’s Church, the majestic Government Palace, the ancient Lotrščak tower, the grand Cathedral, and the fascinating Stone Gate.
Experience the vibrant energy of the city centre as you stroll through the colourful Dolac market in the morning. Alternatively, indulge in the delectable gourmet offerings at local pubs and restaurants. Our CME meeting is in the afternoon. The day concludes with a comfortable overnight stay in Zagreb, allowing you to savour the essence of this charming city.

Day Three
Location: Zagreb > Slovenia & the Istrian Coast

On this day we travel from Zagreb to the Croatian coast. On our way we will stop at the wondrous 24-kilometres long Postojna Cave, one of the largest underground cave systems in Europe, and we visit the Predjama Castle, situated on a 123 metre high cliff near the caves.
The castle is more than 800 years old and holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest cave castle. We’ll arrive at the coastal town of Rovinj in the late afternoon, where we will enjoy dinner after we check-in.

Day Four
Location: Discovering Istria: Rovinj & Pula

Today we’ll travel by bus to the Istrian Coast which offers idyllic views across Croatia and nearby Italy, but with fewer crowds. Starting with a walk through the labyrinth of cobbled streets, the Roman history of this stunning peninsula is revealed, before venturing inland to sample some renowned local products including truffle and extra virgin olive oil.
We end the day with a visit to one of the best-preserved amphitheatres in the world, the jewel of Pula, a 3000-year-old city, administrative centre of Istria.

Day Five
Location: Opatija > Fužine & Plitvice
Hotel: Hotel Palcich or Similar
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast and checking out, today’s destination is the Plitvice area. Our first stop is Opatija, a picturesque little town full of magnificent villas and old hotels and at one time, a famous winter resort of the Austrian elite. Spend time here as you wish: take a stroll through Lungomare promenade, tour Villa Angiolina which was built in 1844, as well the Croatian Museum of Tourism. Don’t forget to make time for a coffee break with million-dollar views at Caffé Wagner.
After we pass Gorski Kotar, a mountainous region, we’ll arrive at a small village called Fužine where we’ll explore the Vrelo Cave. The cave, estimated to be 3.5-4 million years old, was discovered by chance in the 1950s during the construction of the Bajer Reservoir.
Lunch today will be a mix of traditional Croatian menu items plus local specialty dishes and vegetarian options at restaurant Bitoraj. Through the lush green scenery, our trip continues to Plitvice Lakes where we’ll check in for the evening.

Day Six
Location: Plitvice Lakes National Park > Split

After breakfast and check out, we’ll travel by coach to the unforgettable labyrinth of evergreen woods, lakes and stunning waterfalls of UNESCO-protected Plitvice Lakes National Park. Croatia’s oldest national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area, bordering Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our journey continues towards Split for a short evening walk through the city’s historical centre which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day Seven
Location: Split & Boarding the Cruise

Once the walking tour concludes, prepare for the next part of your journey – an unforgettable luxury cruise, commencing in the vibrant city of Split. Get ready to embark on a remarkable adventure, where the beauty of the Dalmatian coast unfolds before your eyes. Set sail at 13:00h and cruise along the mesmerising Dalmatian coast, indulging in a delightful lunch onboard. Experience the joy of an afternoon swim at one of the stunning beaches along the way.
Prepare for an enchanting overnight stay in Makarska, a renowned tourist destination adorned with a plethora of restaurants, bars, and a captivating promenade lining the famous beach. Explore the allure of the Makarska Riviera and take leisurely strolls through the city streets, where you’ll find an abundance of churches and other culturally significant sites to cherish. Embrace the magic of Makarska and create lasting memories amidst its captivating charm.

Day Eight

Morning departure to Brač Island where swimming is planned (weather dependent) at the most famous beach in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat near Bol. Continue towards the jet-set island of Hvar with lunch onboard at the Pakleni Islands. Hvar is the longest and sunniest island in the Adriatic, known for lavish lavender fields and breathtaking beauty.
Afternoon arrival is followed by a tour of the town’s historical landmarks, or you can hike up to the town forte for spectacular views.
You can enjoy an abundance of entertainment in town, in the evening hours, as the ship stays overnight in port.

Day Nine

In the early morning, set sail towards the charming Biševo island to witness the breathtaking Blue Cave, depending upon the weather conditions – a magnificent natural wonder. Please note that there is an entrance fee of 18 EUR, payable on the spot.
The cruise then continues to the island of Vis, which was once a strategic navy harbour and remained closed to the public until recently. Due to its unique geographical position and isolation, Vis exudes a special charm, offering a glimpse of the Mediterranean as it once was – an aspect that makes it truly fascinating to explore. Perhaps try some exquisite wine in one of the local traditional wineries.
Your overnight stay is in the port of Vis, nestled on the northern side of the island and developed around the remnants of ancient Issa, the first urban centre in Croatia. If you’re intrigued by history, you have the option to visit the remains of the Roman thermal place or explore the City Museum. Alternatively, you can take a leisurely stroll and relish the sight of beautiful “Villae Rusticae” dotting the coastline, providing a picturesque view along your path. Embrace the captivating allure of Vis and indulge in the peaceful atmosphere of this historically rich island.

After a delightful breakfast, we set sail towards the captivating island of Korčula, famed as the birthplace of the renowned explorer and adventurer, Marco Polo. As we approach the island from the sea, you’ll be enchanted by the sight of medieval walls surrounding Korčula, giving it the appearance of a miniature Dubrovnik. This charming island is steeped in legends, tales, and monuments, making it a place of rich history and intrigue like no other.
Today, Korčula proudly maintains a unique tradition—the Spanish medieval knight’s game called Moreška—making it the only place in the world where this spectacle is performed. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a guided walking tour through the streets of the old town, thoughtfully laid out in the shape of a fishbone (included on Premium Superior package). Wander through the narrow alleyways and admire the architectural wonders that have stood the test of time.
In the evening, indulge in the abundant offerings of konobas (taverns), restaurants, cocktail bars, and nightclubs located both within and around the city walls. Your overnight stay will be in the port, allowing you to immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance of Korčula, taking in its history and vibrant contemporary atmosphere. Day 11

The cruise continues its journey towards the island of Mljet, one of the lushest and greenest islands in the Adriatic. On the western part of the island lies the captivating Mljet National Park (entrance fee of 25 EUR to be paid on the spot). Upon arrival, you’ll have free time to immerse yourself in the park’s natural splendours.
The national park boasts two mesmerising salt lakes connected to the sea by a narrow channel. Here, you can take a boat ride to the St. Mary isle in the Great Lake, where an old church and monastery are nestled in serene surroundings. You’ll have the chance to enjoy various activities, such as cycling, canoeing, or taking a refreshing swim in the picturesque lakes.
We stay overnight in the port of Polača or Pomena.

Day 12

Departure for the mainland village of Slano, a peaceful fisherman’s village, once a fortified outpost famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts a short coastal walk leads to an oyster farm, to learn more about oysters and tasting this delicious treat.
As the day draws to a close, indulge in the delightful Captain’s dinner onboard, savouring the delectable cuisine while surrounded by the enchanting beauty of the Adriatic seascape.

Day 13

Early morning departure to Dubrovnik. The special charms of this ancient town are the buildings that have remained from the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. Before tying the ropes at Gruz Harvour, we’ll cruise alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls, while lunch is served onboard. After docking, we’ll transfer to the old town for our guided walking tour of this magical town, ending with a cable car from the old town to Srd Mountain to enjoy spectacular views over the city and Elaphiti Islands.
